Statement on Recent Targeting of Manny’s

We are heartbroken and outraged by the recent antisemitic attack targeting Manny’s, a queer-owned and affirming space in our community. Acts of hate have no place in our neighborhoods—especially those that target individuals for their identities.

Our commitment to fighting antisemitism in all its forms is unwavering. Jewish members of our LGBTQ community deserve to live, work, and thrive without fear. This attack is an affront not only to the individual targeted but to all of us who believe in dignity, justice, and safety for marginalized people.

There is no liberation in antisemitism. There is no peace in racism or violence of any kind. Our movements must be courageous enough to hold complexity—and clear enough to condemn harm when it happens.

We send our love and solidarity to Manny and all those impacted by this act of hate. We remain steadfast in our commitment to building a future rooted in safety, liberation, and collective care.
